Over his 20 years with the MGC, Mr. Nelson has been an integral contributor establishing and administering the EGD program within the state. The program is responsible for ensuring the devices and systems at the 13 riverboats meet regulatory requirements, and the integrity of gaming within the state is protected. Mr. Nelson and staff collaborate directly with riverboat operators, suppliers, test laboratories, and other regulatory agencies to develop and recommend administrative rules permitting Missouri’s gaming industry to be competitive in the marketplace while protecting the state’s interests relating to casino gambling.
